In a book called The One Minute Millionaire, Robert Allen and Mark Victor Hansen writes, "Life is a process of discovering principles." Principles are simple yet powerful models that help us understand how the world works. If you want to make rapid progress, don't fight against principles, flow with them. The Laws of Attraction and Energy Management are a set of universal principles anyone can learn to master.
When you have integrated the Laws of Attraction and Energy Management principles into the way you think, you will find that unexpected blessings and rewards begin to show up in your life.
You'll find yourself saying things like, "that listing just came to me out of blue" or "I was in the right place at the right time," or "I was in the store at the produce section and picked up 4 sellers." or "Escrow was getting ready to fall out and like a miracle I came up with idea and it worked and we're closing!" You'll have more awesome days than bad ones and eventually a more fulfilling life.
You'll find that worry doesn't fit anymore. You'll notice yourself becoming less and less emotionally entangled, working fewer hours but getting better results. You'll find yourself able to turn off your cell phone and beepers to be with your family or significant other without worrying about missing a sale or making someone angry. You'll suddenly realize that doing the big numbers is attainable - because as you stay in that higher feeling place you are able to think more clearly and creatively. Inspired ideas that were blocked will start to flow freely.
We are the originator and the director of our thoughts and feelings and whatever or wherever we place our dominate attention has a strong tendency to show up into our life, whether wanted or unwanted. We are constantly in a state of attracting either more of what we want or sometimes, what we don't want.
How can you tell what you are attracting right now? Notice how you are feeling. How can you tell what you've been attracting over the past months and years? Look at your circumstances in most cases, if usually reflects a crystal image of your dominate thought pattern.
In the late 1980's early 1990's when the bottom was falling out of the real estate market agents were forced to quit and get real jobs. I knew just enough about the process of thought management to launch a fairly crude yet effective campaign of focusing my thoughts on the success of other extremely successfully agents in the region and not join the hysteria among agents in my market place.
It was at a mid-year seminar where I purchased a set of tapes called Tips of the Super Stars. Tapes, of agents who were doing phenomenal production for that time. As I drove home from the seminar I popped one of the tapes into my cassette player and began to listen. I found myself glued to the interviews. I felt as if I was in their story, experiencing their success. It was amazing!
I listened to the tapes over and over and over again, day and night. Every time I was in the car and when I got home, as I was getting dressed in the morning the tapes were playing. I listened so much I had almost memorized each one, word for word.
As these 4 agents talked of their path to success, I found myself taking on the joy and excitement of their achievements. These agents were doing numbers like $10,000,000, 15,000,000 and $20,000,000 a year in commissions. No one in my little world had ever produced more than $5,000,000 a year and the highest I am ever done was $3,000,000 so these numbers were enormous to me.
As each one described their work ethics, it seemed doable even in my world where in 1990 the average sales price was only $85,000. The more I absorbed the experiences of these mega producers, the more I was able to refocus my thoughts on a new feeling, a feeling of actually having the power to create an income of $200,000 or 300,000 dollars a year ! I thought about how I would spend the money and how exhilarating it would be to receive national recognition. The more fired up I got about this possibility, the what if's had no oxygen left to survive.
The more I thought the thoughts that turned me on, the better I felt, and the more ideas came flooding in as to how to make this a reality. The more I activated those ideas, the better the results and then more ideas came. Then more positive things begin to happen out of the blue, things like people I had lost contact with would contact me to list or sell them a home or I'd get a referral from someone I had forgotten about but they remembered me. I found the more I felt like a successful top producer on the inside, my outward image began to mirror that too. I began walking and talking like a top producer.
I updated my listing presentation to reflect the successful image I was feeling on the inside. I started dressing differently, my car went to car wash more frequently. I was becoming on the outside the reflect of the new image in my mind's eye a "super star" in the making!
I was using their experiences of doing what I wanted to do and engrossing myself in the mental image of success, achievement and huge pay days . I saw myself driving a new Mercedes, making large deposits, receiving local and national recognitions. I imagined vacations and other dream luxuries! As a result of creating this constant stream of feel good energy there were actual tangible results.
In a declining market, of San Bernardino County, where the average sales price at the time was less $85,000 we not only survived but within 3 years our income went from $60,000 to $460,000 and sales volume from $3,000,000 to over $14,000,000 and in one year experienced 167% increase and achieved #4 ranking of homes sold in the United State !
This experience was so revealing to me, I've never been able to forget it. In fact it has colored every achievement and success in my life. When one considers that with no particular influence with the banks, no corporate connections, in a declining market when many others were going out of business, why did we flourish? Why were we invited to be among the chosen few to handle the foreclosure properties of a multi-billion dollar Financial Corporation. Was this luck ? Being in the right place at the right time ?
I can tell you without a doubt, the only way it could have happened was through the process of Energy Management, the skill of focusing attention away from what it is you don't want and toward what you do. I believe when we are able to somehow, someway feel the same feelings of excitement, exuberance and gratitude before we experience our dreams as we would after our dreams actually become reality the energy of positive faith we exude becomes like a magnet and we create an opening for the Universe to deliver. The Banks had a need they were attracted to my husband and I, and became our major clients.
Our thoughts are the causes that produce the effects which become our reality!
If you want to know where your thoughts are, look around you and notice what is showing up. If you don't like what's showing up - change your thoughts. If you like what's showing up - turn up the volume on your thoughts.
Our job is to always keep feeling good - because our feelings turn into our thoughts, our thoughts turn into words. Our words turn into our beliefs. Our beliefs turn into our behavior, and our behavior turns into action, which produces our reality. — Abraham-Hicks, teacher.
Every thought I visualized during those first weeks became a reality. The successful persons' inner mindset is programmed for expecting things to work out. They have an activation of beliefs that assists them in overcoming obstacles, seeing the opportunity in every situation and learning and growing instead of blaming and worrying. The great news is that you can learn how to have a new Inner mindset and then you will find yourself doing the things you need to do, taking actions, creating momentum, having more fun and making more money! It is an integrative approach that creates practical results.
